To whom it might concern @ anyone usa
This is a letter introducing ourselves: D.A.N Dubuque Autism Network. We are a nonprofit corp.
We started in January of 2014. 100% of money received goes to help the schools and community of
Dubuque, Iowa. Our web site is http://www.dubuqueautismnetwork.org/

The University of Dubuque helps us with our web site and we thank them for this. We started this not-for-profit because we saw a need in the special needs class room. The school tries to do the best they can with the budgets they have, but the special needs group only makes up for less than 1% of the population of the school. Then I found out that a teacher had to buy an Ipad so that some of the kids could communicate with her simply because there wasn’t a budget for it.

My wife and I started this nonprofit to help the community; it has been slow but we are trying. On Thursday, April 2, 2015 is World Autism Awareness Day.  The reason we use blue is that it is the color associated with Autism. Also puzzle pieces. We started a booster campaign selling t-shirts to try to raise money and raise awareness of our services and support for the community. Maybe your organization could buy some shirts for the April 2nd event and beyond. If you do, they will be delivered by March 30 or 31. The Booster site also takes donations for us.

Remember, we are trying to raise money for a smart board in the special needs class rooms.

The device we want is the TouchIT Interactive White Board 90 inch which sells for $2000.

I have talked to the distributor and have reduced the price to $1000 each plus tax and they are in Wisconsin. Thank you for reading this and if you have any questions at all please email or call.

Dubuque Autism Network is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to helping families of children with autism and special needs to find resources. Dubuque Autism Network will also actively be seeking financial support to help fund these services for families and schools.

Dubuque lies at the junction of three states: Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, a region locally known as the Tri-State Area. It serves as the main commercial, industrial, educational, and cultural center for the area. Geographically, it is part of the Driftless Area, a portion of North America that escaped all three phases of the Wisconsinian Glaciation.

One of the few large cities in Iowa with hills, it is a major tourist destination, attracting visitors to the city's unique architecture and river location. Also, it is home to five institutions of higher education, making it a center for culture and learning.
